This morning we received reports of what appeared to be a possible gas explosion at a property on Rossall Road in cleveleys close to cleveleys library at the junction with west drive.

Pictures from the scene show a front window of a flat which has collapsed. A nearby vehicle had damage to it’s rear – at the time we arrived on scene one police officer and a fire engine were still on scene. Tape had been put up around the pavement in front of the property but traffic on Rossall Road remained unaffected.

We shared this news on our facebook page and an eyewitness replied in the comments claiming they saw a vehicle reverse into the property and that no gas explosion had happened.
